Stone - 23

the heron a black silhouette against the grey morning sky
flapping slowly, fighting the wind, veering, heading south
I watch until my arms ache from holding a basket
of wet washing that needs to be hung on the line

    1. Thank you all of you! Again this was such a "moment" that it was burned into my memory and I had to write it down.
